Started at the Port of Ipswich in 1989 as F T Marine and General Ltd, the company has built up a reputation as a leader within the ship repair industry on the east coast.
In 2003 the company changed name to F T Marine and General (East) Ltd, and moved into larger, modern premises in Manningtree from where it has easy access to the east coast ports especially Felixstowe, Harwich and Ipswich.
Although the majority of our work is carried out within the marine industry we also carry out all steel fabrication and general engineering work.
With our years of experience, we aim to provide you with the highest level of reliable, skilled and safe working services, and comply with all relevant safety procedures.
We carry out risk assessments and provide method statements where necessary, and are always available to quote for any work that you need carrying out.
